Because of Claybrook & Associates trustee experience, we have the
resources to act as Receiver for financial institutions and other non-regulated
entities such as real estate partnerships and trusts, federally funded
not-for-profit agencies and quasi-public foundations.
Examples of our Receivership engagements are listed
below:
At the request of a non-profit Board of Directors and the Department
of Health and Human Services Claybrook & Associates was appointed
as Receiver/Master of a urban Head Start program. As Receiver, we have
been required to coordinate vouchering and funding by the Department
of Health and Human Services, supervise operations, provide financial
controls for the expenditure of funds including payment of bills and
payroll, oversee board activities and those of executive management,
direct the efforts of legal counsel and coordinate the operation of
the facilities with its responsibilities to wind down the operations
in their last contract year.
